A disappointment

Coming off of playing Mage Gauntlet, Wayward Souls is a shameless "souls like" genre cash grab. It reuses tons of assets from Mage Gauntlet, and just feels like a bad attempt at a punishing game. There really isnt any strategy or skill involved, youll die more often than not from random enemy facing or projectiles. Save your money and stay away from this one.
