Mage gauntlet is a great game and this is also a great game. The control is tight, the graphics are cool and there are multiple playable characters.

But the Pet System need a rewamp.

Running around in a endless dungeon alwais about to die, perfect >:D

Permanent death makes each and every battle make you hold your breathe. The controls make your character come to life. The music, sfx, and story are great. This is a fantastic game and each time you die you feel gratified knowing next time you can push your limit.

This is easily one of the best ios games released this year. I definitely recommend buying it. And do it soon, as the price will increase with every update. Controls are smooth and responsive, AI is challenging but fair (they all have patterns), characters are fun and varied, and level design is fantastic.

Awesome game, great controls. Ive been playin this game for the last week flat out, hair straight back. Id definitely reccomend it to you!

The game is wonderful, it would be a 5/5 if it werent for what happened to me. It is a perfect mix of difficulty grinding and RPG-style play, the 16-bit dark souls of IOS. After I beat the first dungeon I got off for the night, and got back the next day to find all my progress reset, quite depressing since that was 3 hours of work. 2/5 because of that.

One of the best games for iPhones, period. Would get a five out of five, but the game keeps losing my progress. I finish killing a boss, then get a new character to play, and then stop playing for a bit, and when I come back, I lost the character I earned, and all my progress! Please fix, I love this game and this is frustrating

This is really awesome but whenever I beat Humphrey and try to go to the next floor it crashes and I have to start over. Plz fix

The game keeps crashing on my iPad Air. Also, as far as the upgrade system, it seemed to have really high prices for small upgrades. Still the game is a great concept and the story is really engaging. 4/5

This is easily the best RPG type game Ive played on a mobile device. The story-telling is really solidly done and the gameplay, while quite challenging leaves me feeling like the reason I failed is because I did poorly, not because the game is unfair, which I appreciate.

I dont write many reviews, but this game stands out. Love the retro feel of the game, very well polished. Extremely difficult. Good handling of the randomized dungeon makes the game very replay able. With the newest patch all the bugs have been fixed, so this goes back to the 5 stars this game deserves.

Blown away. A highly focused, action-based test of reflex and tactics artfully scored and stylishly animated. Wayward Souls also features a captivating and cryptic story component with each character adding new elements as well as lending new strategies to combat. The challenges are new and exciting at first and provide ample satisfaction once they are mastered. Overall, this was money very well spent. My hat goes off to the team at Rocketcat.

I love everything about this game from its tight control scheme to its storyline! But the MFI controller support is buggy. It doesnt seem to work on my steelseries stratus wireless gaming controller. Buttons I press activate things which arent labelled to the button and I cant even start a game because of how buggy it is, please update your MFI support. Thanks, Rocketcat
